About the house

We are delighted to introduce our new Sonnennest Seminar and Holiday House in Sumvitg, in the heart of the beautiful Surselva region of Graubünden, Switzerland. Over the past 14 years, we have lovingly transformed this special place into a welcoming retreat for seminars and holidays. The former barn has been replaced by a new building with five comfortable guest rooms and a spacious 70 m² seminar room, creating the perfect setting for groups of up to 16 participants. We serve delicious vegetarian meals, prepared with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. The house welcomes organisers offering workshops in personal growth, mindfulness and conscious living. The bright seminar room features panoramic mountain views and a sprung wooden floor, ideal for dance formats such as 5Rhythms, Azul and Soul Motion. It is also fully equipped for yoga and Pilates, with mats and meditation cushions for up to 20 participants. Thanks to its excellent acoustics, the room is equally suited for rehearsals by small music groups, bands and choirs. The area around Sumvitg offers unforgettable experiences throughout the year. Enjoy scenic mountain hikes, visit the historic Disentis Monastery or swim in crystal-clear alpine lakes. In winter, nearby ski resorts, cross-country trails along the Rhine and snowshoe routes to Alp Glivers provide endless outdoor adventures. Every season has something special to offer.
