The Sportchalet in Mürren (Bernese Oberland, Switzerland) is in the middle of the car-free holiday resort of Mürren in the Bernese Oberland only five minutes from the Mürren railway station or the Schilthorn aerial cableway. Transport of luggage possible. Grass playground, four sand tennis courts and table tennis. Our seminar rooms have slide and overhead projectors, a screen and a large-screen television with video. We also have a gymnasium and a judo-dojo centre; various common rooms and a sunny terrace. In the Alpine course and sports centre (AKSZ), 3 min. away, there are 3 sports halls, an indoor swimming pool, squash courts and a fitness room. A wide variety of walking routes through colourful tapestries of Alpine flowers in summer. In winter, 53 km of ski and snowboard slopes with guaranteed snow. All prices are in CHF per person/day in twin rooms incl. V.A.T./taxes, incl. free access to the indoor swimming pool at the sport center. Groups are entitled to use the triple gym hall in the sport centre, all sports equipment and the hall of the Sportchalet for free. The published prices are orientation prices. After passing Interlaken towards Lauterbrunnen Mürren can be reached by train and cableway only. There are two ways from Lauterbrunnen to Mürren: 1. By cableway to Grütschalp. Then changing to the train to Mürren. Travel time: approximately 20 minutes. Transport: BLM (Bergbahn Lauterbrunnen Mürren). 2. By bus to Stechelberg. In Stechelberg take the cableway up to Mürren, with a change in Gimmelwald. Travel time: approximately 20 minutes. Transport: Schilthornbahn.
