The Ski- und Ferienhaus Nidegg in Schwenden in the Diemtigtal is our romantic hot tip in the midst of a beautiful mountain world of the Bernese Oberland (Switzerland). The former Alp cottage has been continually renovated and extended. Today, the house offers mains and telephone connection, central heating, showers, WC facilities, playing rooms with table-tennis and table football. The homely flat in the house, with 5 beds, can be rented additionally for the organizers. Situated by an easy ski run of the Grimmialp ski area (1 chairlift, 2 ski-lifts, 1200 to 1800 metres, i.e. 3900 to 5900 ft above sea level). Cross country ski run, toboggan run and natural ice-rink within a 15 ot 20 minutes' walk. Ideal surroundings for ski tours. In summer, the house is an ideal starting point for hiking or biking tours. For children and families we recommend the fun trail Grimmimutz. In summer access by 4WD.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Take the regional train Spiez-Erlenbach-Zweisimmen to Oey-Diemtigen. Take the post bus to the "Winteregg" Schwenden/Grimmialp stop. You are directly at the entrance to the Eggmatte campsite. Car: National road A 6 motorway exit Wimmis, direction Simmental, turn left into the Diemtigtal. Drive through the valley to Schwenden/Grimmialp (approx. 16 km) until you reach the signpost Camping Eggmatte. Parking spaces available.
