On our lively organic and adventure farm, you can experience farm life up close and, by spending the night in the straw dormitory, dive straight into nature – a real highlight for school classes, club trips, youth groups, and families. Sleeping in the straw means: you roll out your sleeping bag, sink into fragrant straw, and end the day with animal sounds and peaceful countryside silence. In the morning, you’ll be woken up by the rooster or the animals, and you can head straight to the stable, help with milking, or start the day on the farm with breakfast featuring regional organic products. A wide range of activities awaits you around the farm: Cow trekking, cow wagon rides, and cow riding – get to know our cows and water buffalo cows. Bike tours, inline skating, and walks along the Rhine. Trips to castles and nature experiences in the area. Farm activities such as go-karting, playground fun, or group games. For groups, we also offer a heated mattress dormitory with up to 25 sleeping places as a cosy alternative to the straw dormitory – perfect for cool spring days and autumn nights. Car / coach: Via Stein am Rhein towards Schaffhausen/Diessenhofen. After the Hemishofen Rhine bridge, follow the signs to Hemishofen. After the sawmill, turn left into Grabenackerstrasse. After about 800 m, turn right at the concrete power mast to reach the Bolderhof. Public transport: Take the train to Stein am Rhein, then the bus towards Singen to “Hemishofen Dorf”. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk via Grabenackerstrasse to the farm.
