About the house

The alpine Outdoor-Center Rezia-Martina is situated in a quiet and sunny location at the village square in Martina in the Engadine (Graubünden, Switzerland) in the border triangle Italy - Austria - Switzerland within a rich biosphere. It is suitable as centrally located basecamp for hikes, bike-, ski-, cross country ski- and snow shoe tours in the mountain ranges of the Silvretta, the Bernina and the Oeztal Alps as well as for seminars in the areas of health, culture, sustainable development, nature and sport. Within a radius of 20 to 40 minutes by car there are the Swiss National Park and the Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio as well as the resorts Scuol, Samnaun (CH), Serfaus-Ladis (A), Nauders (A), Reschen (I) and St. Valentin (I). The cross country track Scuol - Martina ends at the village square directly in front the Outdoor-Center Rezia-Martina. In the village of Tschlin there are a printing museum, a brewery, a cheese factory as well as farms, alps and craftsmen which can be visited on guided tours. Two sports halls can be rented. Milan, Munich and Zurich can be reached within 3 hours by car.

Getting there

The RM Outdoor-Center Rezia-Martina can be reached safely from Germany and Eastern Switzerland at any time via the Fernpass or the Arlberg motorway. Coming from the Zurich region, you can travel via the Flüela pass or use the car transport through the Vereina tunnel. Martina is also easily accessible by public transport. The bus stop is only a two-minute walk from the house.

Men Wieland, born 1960, grew up in the Engadine. After studying biology and pedagogy at ETH and University of Zurich, he devoted himself to teaching and research as well as to education management. He is the father of 4 children and will be happy to share his outdoor experience as an alpinist, avalanche expert, mountain biker, tour guide and hiking guide with the guests of RM Outdoor-Center Rezia-Martina.
