The Pfadiheim Haselhaus is idyllically located in a forest clearing above Biberstein (Canton of Aargau, Switzerland), offering you a stunning view over the Swiss Plateau all the way to the Alps. Built in the 1930s as an educational center, the building was fully renovated between 2022 and 2025. Today, it welcomes you as a modern yet simple group accommodation for up to 28 people. The house is located outside the residential area and is energy self-sufficient: electricity and hot water are generated using solar energy. The kitchen and common room each have a 230V socket, and USB ports are available in the bedrooms. As energy and water are limited, mindful and economical use is essential. Haselhaus is ideal for anyone who wants to experience and respect nature. It is located at the edge of a protected dry meadow area, which must not be entered. Car access is only permitted for transporting materials – guests reach the house on foot. The accommodation is perfect for weekend stays, youth camps, or quiet private events. Due to its secluded location, events with more than 30 people are not permitted.
Days without an entry are considered free. Only the enquiry to the host is binding.
The road to the Pfadiheim may only be used for material transport or emergencies, with one (1) vehicle and only with a driving permit. This vehicle may then be parked near the house. A maximum of two additional vehicles may be parked at the school parking lot in Biberstein. Access to the house by coach or truck is not possible. The walking time from the school parking lot is approximately 50 minutes, and from the nearest public transport stop (Biberstein Dorf) about 45 minutes.
