Alpe di Pazz Scout House – your camp in sunny Malcantone The Alpe di Pazz Scout House is located quietly and sunny above Novaggio in beautiful Malcantone, Ticino (Switzerland) – perfect if you want nature, wide views and a true outdoor feeling. Surrounded by meadows and forest at the foot of Monte Lema, you can enjoy fresh mountain air and a peaceful green environment. The house offers 32 beds, ideal for scout troops, school camps and youth groups. A separate leader’s room provides comfort and privacy for supervisors. The spacious self-catering kitchen and cozy dining & common room give you lots of space for group time. Outside, a large area awaits you with a game meadow, forest edge and plenty of room for camp activities. You can pitch tents, hold outdoor workshops or plan exciting forest games. The covered outdoor area with barbecue is perfect for long campfire evenings. Use of the tent field, forest classroom and certain events may require additional fees. There’s plenty to do in the region: hikes and adventure tours on Monte Lema, wildlife watching, mountain biking, and visits to nearby villages. Swimming in lakes, trips to Lugano and cultural discoveries are also easily possible.

By public transport: Train to Lugano or Ponte Tresa, then bus to Novaggio. From the bus stop, you reach the Alpe di Pazz Scout House in about 30–40 minutes on foot along a well-maintained path through forest and meadows. Luggage transport can be arranged if needed. By car: Drive from Lugano or Ponte Tresa to Novaggio. From there, a narrow mountain road leads towards Alpe di Pazz. Access to the house by car is possible; parking spaces are available directly at the building.
