Leave your everyday life behind and experience royal holidays at the heights of Mariastein Castle (Switzerland, Canton of Solothurn), where even adults become true king’s children! Behind thick walls, a hearty meal awaits you in the knights' hall, along with an overnight stay in a charming tower room. Are you ready to climb the ridge of the "Blauen" and conquer the castle courtyard? En garde! Majestically perched on a rock, Mariastein Castle overlooks the pilgrimage site of the same name, offering breathtaking views of green hills and untouched forests. The moment when the sun sets behind the castle walls is unforgettable. Whether you embark on medieval excursions to the ruins of Landskron, the Mariastein Monastery, or enjoy a castle hike through the idyllic Leimental Valley – all these adventures will stay with you forever. The youth hostel, featuring its tower room, walkway, castle courtyard, and knights' hall, primarily attracts groups and school classes. 150 steps lead you up to the castle courtyard, where you can feel the tranquility and charm of history.
