The Salvation Army’s Stiegelschwand Youth Centre is located in Adelboden (Bernese Oberland, Switzerland), approximately two kilometres from the village. You can reach the youth centre by car. In winter, the local bus stops directly outside the building every hour. In summer, it stops twice in the morning, at midday, and in the late afternoon/early evening. Facilities include a large kitchen, a dining room and a games room. An overhead projector and screen are available. The youth centre is particularly suitable for groups, clubs and schools. The ground floor and first floor are equipped with 20 beds. The first floor is accessible to wheelchair users via an external ramp. The toilets are also wheelchair-accessible, but without handrails. The showers are not wheelchair-accessible. Door widths (excluding showers) are approx. 80 cm. Overnight stays are therefore not recommended for wheelchair users – at most a visit. Final cleaning can be booked as an optional extra from CHF 500.
Days without an entry are considered free. Only the enquiry to the host is binding.
In winter the bus leaves every hour directly in front of Jugendhaus. In summer it runs twice in the morning, at noon and in the late afternoon.
