Hotel Brienzerburli is located in the traditional village center of Brienz (Canton of Bern, Switzerland), right on the shores of the turquoise Lake Brienz. You’ll stay in cozy, wood-accented rooms that radiate classic chalet charm. Some rooms feature a balcony with lake views or vistas of the impressive mountain scenery. All rooms include a shower/WC, TV, Wi-Fi and a safe – ideal for groups, clubs, families and school trips. In summer, the hotel offers two restaurants. Start your day with a generous breakfast and enjoy regional classics such as rösti, raclette or homemade pastries. Self-catering is only available in winter (November–March). The location is perfect for outdoor activities: just a few steps from the lakeside promenade – ideal for walks, swimming or boat trips. A highlight is the Brienz Rothorn Railway, taking you up to the summit with breathtaking panoramic views. Hiking trails, bike routes, the traditional woodcarving village and many other excursions in the Bernese Oberland are all close by. The Axalp ski area is only a few kilometers away and offers family-friendly slopes. The Meiringen-Hasliberg area and the Jungfrau Region are also easy to reach, with additional skiing and winter activities. Christmas/New Year’s prices depend on the group size. From June 1 to August 31, smaller groups can also be accommodated.

By public transport: Brienz West train station is a 5-minute walk away. By boat: In summer, you can cross Lake Brienz by paddle steamer from Interlaken Ost directly to Brienz. The pier is 1 km from the hotel. By car: Brienz can be reached via the lakeside road or via connecting routes from Lucerne or Interlaken. In Brienz, you’ll also find parking options near the train station or along the main road.
