The Salvation Army holiday centre Waldegg is situated above Rickenbach (Baselland, Switzerland), at 554 m, with a beautiful view, about 1 km from the village centre. The Waldegg is situated in a wonderful, quiet location in the middle of meadows and woods. The holiday home can be reached all year round by Postbus 100 (Gelterkinden - Rheinfelden) and by car (15 parking spaces). Popular excursion destinations are: Liestal, Farnsburg, Sissacherfluh, Sissach, Basel, Augusta Raurica (Roman town), Rheinfelden thermal spa, Basel Zoo, Seewen Music Machine Museum, Gelterkinden indoor swimming pool, Aquabasilea Pratteln The holiday centre has 3 parts, which can be booked together or separately. They have separate entrances. Main house (65 sleeping places), youth house (38 sleeping places), studio (4 sleeping places). Youth centre (not wheelchair accessible) - 38 sleeping places on one floor - 4 rooms for 8 persons, bunk beds - 2 rooms for 2 persons, bunk bed - 1 room for 2 persons, single beds - 7 WC - 5 single showers - 2 washing rooms - Dining room for 40 people - Hall for 40 people (incl. beamer, projection screen) - Lounge for 40 people - shoe room - own small gastro-kitchen - WLAN - terrace - 1 table football - 2 fireplaces, 1 with grill Outdoor area for guests from all three houses: - playground - Swimming pool (approx.
