The group accommodation Casa Calina offers place for up to 22 persons. Six double rooms with running water are spread over 2 floors. In two double rooms you can also add an extra bed. The six rooms have two common bathrooms, a kitchen and two common rooms. Two holiday apartments (each with private bath/WC and kitchen) are particularly suitable for families. All rooms are non-smoking rooms. Each room/apartment has its own garden or terrace with a unique view of Lake Lugano and the Ticino mountains with its dominating Monte Generoso. The large, quiet and sunny garden with pergola and open fireplace grill, sun loungers, playground and table tennis offers plenty of space for all guests. Carona, belonging to the city of Lugano, is located 8 km from the metropolis on Lake Lugano. The 1000-year-old village can be reached in only 15 minutes by car. Postbus No. 434 leaves every hour from the city centre, Piazza Rezzonico Lugano to Carona Paese and takes 25 minutes for the adventurous journey, including through the world's narrowest Postbus tunnel. If you arrive by train, take Postbus no. 434 from Paradiso.
