Your outdoor adventure starts right at the doorstep: In summer, enjoy scenic hiking trails, high-altitude routes, mountain bike tracks and pure alpine nature. The famous Gspon Trail provides sporty challenges and spectacular views. In winter, you benefit from short distances to the small ski area with family-friendly slopes, winter hiking paths and snowshoe tours. A special highlight is the nearby highest football pitch in Europe – perfect for training camps and tournaments. Good to know: Please bring your own sleeping bags. Gspon is a car-free mountain village. By car, you drive to Staldenried, park there and take the cable car Staldenried–Gspon up to the village. By public transport, travel by train to Visp, then continue by PostBus or regional train to Stalden/Staldenried and finally take the cable car. From the mountain station, it is only a few minutes’ walk to the group accommodation in Gspon.
