The group accommodation Ancien Grand Hôtel Chandolin is situated in Chandolin in the Val d'Anniviers (Valais, Switzerland), one of the highest municipalities of Switzerland (2000 m). The house was built in 1894-97 as a Grand Hotel and has been run as a group house since 2001. In stylish rooms we offer you the setting for an impressive and relaxing stay. Enjoy a magnificent panorama with a view of the Matterhorn and the surrounding 4000-metre peaks. Our house is the ideal accommodation for various group retreats, such as seminars, yoga and meditation groups, weddings, etc. A chapel is available for rent at a distance of 100 m. Possible activities in the area: museum (Ella Maillart, 1903-1997, travel writer), highest public observatory in the Alps, skiing, snowboarding, ski and snowshoe tours, hiking (botany trail, planetary trail), trail running, (downhill) mountain biking, climbing, via ferrata, high ropes course, paragliding, archery. by airplane/train/bus -By plane to Basel, Geneva or Sion, from there by train to Sierre/Siders, then by post bus to Chandolin, bus stop "Post", from here 10 minutes walk to the hotel by car -motorway A9 to exit Sierre-Est in the direction of Val d'Anniviers until Chandolin - Parking spaces in the village, in winter a fee applies
