The holiday house Alpina Outdoor offers you a cosy and inexpensive group accommodation in the village centre of Matten near St. Stephan in the Bernese Oberland (Switzerland). The train connects you up the valley with Lenk, down the valley with St. Stephan, Zweisimmen and then Gstaad or Spiez and Lake Thun. The mansion has been converted into a modern, self-sufficient group accommodation. A large photovoltaic system produces approx. 100kW/h of electricity per day. Furthermore, a heat pump provides cosy warmth in the house. The gastro kitchen is equipped for self-catering with dishwasher, 4 large hobs, gastro oven and coffee machine. Two large, cosy lounges, 1 double room and 5 multi-bed rooms as well as a holiday apartment for 4-6 persons are available to our guests. A football box and a table tennis table are ready to play. Opposite the house is a large public lawn playground. The forest and meadows at the edge of the village are not far away either. The Simmental offers a lot of variety. The Simmentaler Hausweg takes you to the most beautiful old houses in the region. A cycle and hiking trail leads from Zweisimmen to Lenk. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Attractive offer for descents by scooter in Lenk. Skiers board the train to Lenk or St.Stephan. There they have access to the large skiing areas Lenk - Adelboden or Lenk Betelberg or Gstaad - Saanen. Cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails in the valley.
