At the very back of the Sernftal, nestled between the prominent three thousand metre peaks Sardona, Vorab and Hausstock, the group accommodation Gemeindehaus Elm is located on the edge of the village of Elm (Glarus, Switzerland). At 1000 m.a.s.l. surrounded by the village centre of national importance and the parents' house of our former ski champion, Vreni Schneider. The Gemeindehaus Elm accommodates not only tourists, but is also an important training and rehearsal centre for local clubs. Guests and locals literally come and go every day and the peaceful coexistence has been working well for many years. The group accommodation Gemeindehaus Elm is suitable for youth camps, sports training and music rehearsals, banquet events, seminars and individual travellers. We offer rooms for self-catering, with breakfast, half board or full board. The beds are equipped with one mattress and one pillow each (sleeping bags are compulsory). Continental quilts can be rented (limited number). Minimum occupancy for camps in winter, summer holidays and autumn holidays: 80 people Minimum occupancy for class camps in May/June and September: 40 people (at least two classes) We do not accept self-catering on winter weekends.

Road: Motorway A3 to exit Niederurnen, Route 17 to Glarus South, just before Glarus South follow Sernftalstrasse to Elm. Public transport: at Schwanden station take the post bus to Elm
