The homely and spacious holiday house Obergschwend is situated in Gersau (canton Schwyz / Central Switzerland) by the Lake Lucerne, on the Southern side of the Rigi in the midst of beautiful mountain meadows and natural landscape. Playing field, volleyball, basketball, swing, seesaw, table tennis, large barbecue and a vast mixed woodland as well as a mountain brook are right next to the house. In the house, there are two day- or dining rooms with oil tiled oven, fully equipped large kitchen, pantry, drying room, washroom, showers and toilets. The rooms: 4x2 and 1x4 beds. The dormitories: 2x14 and 2x16 mattresses. On the ground floor one room can be reorganised for wheelchairs (limited accessibility). Two minutes walk from the house to the cable railway Rigi-Burggeist that carries you to the wonderful hiking area with magnificent view. In winter you can also go sledging, alpine skiing or cross-country skiing. Car access all year round guaranteed. A mountain-bike route leads right past the house. The published prices are indicative.
