The Ferienhaus Schanz in Wassen (canton Uri, Central Switzerland) is a clean, spacious holiday home for school or youth camps, for music or theatre rehearsals or family celebration. Built of massive granite, it is situated by the old Susten road, surrounded on three sides by forest. Coming from Wassen, it can easily be reached by car or a 15 minutes' walk. Our customers appreciate the three large day rooms, the homely bedrooms and the well equipped kitchen. You occupy the house alone as one group. Its detached location and the manifold worthwhile destinations such as Meiental, Göscheneralp and the Gotthard massif offer good preconditions for any kind of holidays, school camps or weekends. Popular topics for our camps are: history, legends, mountain agriculture, animals, geology, crystals and many more. The house is open from mid-March to mid-November.
