The cosy holiday home Alphorn in Engelberg (Obwalden, Central Switzerland) can accommodate two groups independently in the units "Horn" resp. "Alp". The ski-/board room as well as the entry are used commonly. Large groups have the possibility to rent the whole house. Both units have their own kitchen, sanitary installations, bedrooms and dining room. Wireless LAN is offered free of cost. The house is especially suitable for quiet groups. Noise audible outdoors after 10 pm. (22.00h) cannot be tolerated as there are houses in the immediate vicinity. The unit "Horn" offers accommodation for either 18 or 32 persons, depending on whether a dormitory for 14 is booked with it or not. The bright common room, a large territory and the personal and welcoming hospitality round out the picture. The holiday house Alphorn is located approx. 1 km from the village centre. The station for the free ski bus is only about 100m from the house. The house is especially suitable for quiet groups. Night noise mainly in the outdoor area after 22.00 hrs cannot be tolerated as there are residential houses in the immediate vicinity. Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the Alphorn. Engelberg has 82 km of ski runs, cross country trails, 360 km of hiking trails, fixed rope route, a Robinson playground, bike trails, swimming pool, sports centre.
