The CVJM Ferienhaus in Kandersteg (Bernese Oberland, Switzerland) can be reached by fast trains or over the well-developed road from Spiez. The area provides possibilities for walks and mountain hikes up to 3600 m. The Kandersteg-Sunnbühl cable railway, the Allmendalp railway as well as the Kandersteg-Oeschinensee chair lift carries people up to their starting points. In winter, Kandersteg is well-known for its well-kept cross country tracks, passing actually our house directly. Besides, guests will find an artificial ice-skating rink, ski lifts as well as a sledding run (partly illuminated by night). The house is located slightly apart from the village, directly on the shores of the Kander River, and is easily accessible on foot. A table tennis and an outdoor fireplace can be found behind the house, and there is also a large children's playground. A playing field as well as the nearby forest, only 150 m from the house, are perfectly suitable for all kinds of field games. It has a free internet access with wireless LAN.

The CVJM holiday home is located just outside Kandersteg, directly on the Kander in the immediate vicinity of a forest. It is a 20 minute walk from the train station. The house can be reached directly by car or minibus and has 8 parking spaces. The bus stop of the local bus is 5 minutes walk away.
