The Chalet La Promenade in La Forclaz/La Sage close to Evolène (Valais, Switzerland), the balcony above the Val d'Hérens valley, offers you a breathtaking Alpine scenery ranging from an altitude of 1750 up to 4357 metres above sea-level. At a distance of 70 m from the chalet, there are three ski-lifts that take you up to a bar situated at an altitude of 2200 metres. In the village, there is a baby skilift. Furthermore, a free bus will take you within 10 mins to the skiing facilities in Evolène (50 km of ski runs). We offer a private playground (more than 1000 m²) exclusively for our guests at 5 minutes on foot (see foto). At a distance of 2 kms, there are a cross-country ski run, an ice-rink, tennis courts and a Vita parcours. Postal-bus stop at a distance of 50 m. Walks across Alpine pastures, discovering the fauna and flora, excursions and hiking tours of various degrees of difficulty, mountaineering, hiking tours on skis or on snow shoes, mountain-bike, paragliding... everything is possible. As mountain guide, ski and snowboard teacher, we can help you to organise your journey. Modern kitchen, spacious dining room with TV/Video, playroom with table tennis and table football.
