Welcome to the Jschalp Dormitory – your group house right at the mid-station of the Jakobshorn cable car in Davos (Grisons, Switzerland). At 1,931 m above sea level, you enjoy a breathtaking view over the Grisons Alps and find yourself in the middle of the ski area, hiking trails, and bike routes. Your adventure starts right at the doorstep. The dormitory accommodates up to 26 guests and is ideal for school classes, clubs, or groups of friends. Three cozy dorm rooms with bunk beds await you – two rooms with four bunk beds each and one with five. Please bring your own hut sleeping bag. For your comfort, there are four shared showers (two for women, two for men) and four toilets. Wi-Fi is available, and dogs are welcome. Meals are served across the path at the Berghaus Jschalp. Start your day with a rich breakfast and end it with hearty Grisons specialties, regional wine, or a Monstein beer. Self-catering is not possible in the dormitory – the Berghaus team takes care of culinary highlights and alpine atmosphere with great dedication. The location on the Jakobshorn makes the Jschalp Dormitory the perfect base for your ski or snowboard camp, mountain holidays, or active days with your group in Davos. By train or postal bus to Davos Platz, then take the Jakobshorn cable car to the Jschalp mid-station. By car, direct access to the house is only possible in summer; otherwise, parking is available at the Jakobshorn valley station with onward travel by cable car. Coaches cannot reach the accommodation.
