The St. Jakob Nature Friends’ House (“Jaköbli”), situated in beautiful Isenthal (Canton of Uri, Switzerland), is 5 km from the shores of Lake Lucerne, 15 km from Altdorf and 40 km from the legendary Rütli Meadow. With a wide range of activities on offer in the surrounding area (swimming and windsurfing on Lake Urnersee, rock climbing on the cliffs by the lake, mountain bike tours starting directly from the house, hiking and mountain tours, etc.), the house is an ideal base for club and/or family outings, retreats and team-building activities. Or you can simply come to this idyllic spot to enjoy the peace and quiet of this fairytale world, far away from traffic. Our ‘Jaköbli’ can accommodate 26 guests across 6 rooms. This St. Jakob Nature Friends’ House is designed as a self-catering accommodation for groups. You are responsible for providing everything you need. Please bring your own sleeping bag (compulsory) for sleeping. Woolly blankets are provided, and fitted sheets are available on request. In the well-equipped kitchen, you can prepare a multi-course dinner or a simple meal. And after a strenuous hike or bike ride, treat yourself to a shower. At the end of your stay, please leave the group house clean and take your rubbish with you. We rent out the house all year round on request. In winter, bookings are only available on a weekly basis or for long weekends from Friday to Sunday. Different minimum rental periods apply for public holidays.

Public transport: By train (www.sbb.ch) to Flüelen and then by bus to the "Stettli Isenthal" station, from there it is a 10-minute walk to the house. Private transport: The house is located south of Lake Lucerne and can be reached from Lucerne via the A2 motorway. Car park at the "Stettli" bus stop. Goods transport to the house possible. Parking in front of the house for 2 cars possible, but not suitable and not recommended. In winter only with snow chains or 4x4.
